I based mine on Conan. It was far too complex but filled a summer pleasantly even if it remains unfinished. I might finish it this coming year, destroy the internet and market it, making my millions. Just need a title. Obviously the marketing will be done using sandwich boards as I'll have destroyed the internet.
*edit* Steve Jackson's 'Sorcery!' was cooler in my humble opinion.
