if you start lots of multiple threads other peoples work gets pushed off of the page (page hold 10 threads, i think) and then it doesn't get seen.
you can reply to other people's threads which are further up the board, replies are usually related in some way, but don't have to be. if you think your pic isn't worth a new thread, just say not worth own thread and drop into someone elses.
basically, it's about keeping other's work on the board so others can see them.

Ok, I can understand that, I put a lot of stuff on Twitter which tends to get ignored as it disappears from peoples timelines very quickly. I think b3ta seems a better place for image work and I like the sound of the challenges too. Cheers for the advice, appreciated.
