I had good fun playing battlefield 3. Shits all over the COD games for scope and variety. Never really interacted with my teammate strangers though. I dont do the whole headset thing unless its with mates.
Im the same with the tomb raider games. I only had the 2nd one, and i didnt like it that much. It was just to show off the graphics on my PC at the time. The new one looks quite polished and gritty though.

BF3 does look pretty good.With the Endgame DLC coming out soon, I might put it on the list. It does seem like the sort of game where a little more teamwork is needed, whereas COD is every man for himself.
I think I had the second one on PS1... I really should dig it out, just to see if my opinion will have changed. I don't remember enjoying it at the time, but then again I was about 7-8. I preferred Crash Bandicoot and whatnot.
