Kids are like fast breeder reactors for all manner of horrible germs and they are not shy about passing it on to parents.Kid a bit sick at nursery? Expect to have food poisoning and all the lovely associated symptoms yourself next day. Nobody tells you all this when you decide to have kids do they?

When your mum is a nursery headteacherit works the other way as well...I only ever caught headlice once and that was when her school had an outbreak :(
