my mate lives close to liverpool's ground, it's a nightmare when they play at home. we won't even go to the pub when the derby's on, it's always full of fighting wankers

Moved out to the 'burbs now.
They will still have had doormen outside all the pubs, and no glass crossing the bar all day.
I have to say I really question the wisdom of an evening kick off - even on a monday. Large swathes of the city will have been on the keg since lunchtime. It won't be a pretty sight.
In fact with that in mind I think I'll scarper and try for an earlier train...
