I had so many car models which I built. Then I learned the ugly truth of the half-life of the glued jointsI started using cyanoacrylates, but that was as an adult, and I lost interest in building them. I wonder if it lasts any longer.

I think cyanoacrylates weld the material together?Polystyrene cement is an adhesive, so it can perish. I can remember picking bits off.
My missus bought me a remake of the classic AMT USS Enterprise kit a few years ago, still haven't made that. Hope I make a better hash of it that the one I had as a kid.
