Yes, perhaps something will limp back out from the sun.
But I suspect it's not going to be the "comet of the century, so bright you can see it in daylight, with a tail stretching across half the sky" that people were talking about all year...
Not that I'm surprised, or anything. Astronomy is merely a shorthand for "It's not easy to see from your latitude. And there's a tree in the way. And it wasn't as bright as we expected. And it's cloudy tonight anyway."
