Despite spending weks out in the middle of nowhere nature watching,I only ever saw one (1) live snake. We thought it was a young Taipan and was acting quite aggressively, so we naturally got close and took photos. Turns out instead of the deadliest snake in Aus, it was in fact the wussiest:
