It's one place on my I want to go list, certainly.But it'll probably flood massively when I'm there and I'll be killed by floaters.

Was quite surprised in the evening when water started bubbling out of the drains in St Mark's square. Ended up about 2 foot deep in some places, a combination of wind direction and spring tides. The place really is a bit fucked in terms of sinking/rising sea levels. In short: don't get a big lease on a ground floor flat.
