The great thing about cows is that they eat grass, which is not food—at least not a popular human food—and they turn it into milk. It’s a net food gain.
And what about pigs? They’ll eat a lot of stuff we won’t touch. I’ve seen pigs eating garbage. So if we could just get close to a sow, pig milk seems like it might be a net food gain as well.
