# In space
the problem is that the vacuum of space is an excellent kind of insulator - radiation absorbed from the Sun, or internal heat from chemical/biological/mechanical processes builds up and needs to be extracted. Cooling water layers in space suits are vital, and heat exchange is a big problem for long term space habitation.
