# nice
Although it's actually the Magi adoring the Mogwai.

# I assumed it was Argos delivery men, but seeing you said "actually" I now know I was mistaken
did you know that actually in the neutral, verbless grammatical construction of the painting's title, magi could function as both subject or object, with only the contextual clue of the painting itself indicating to the viewer which was intended. This is due to the multiple grammatical functions of the participle "of", which can indicate possession (whose adoration? the magi's) but can also indicate 'done to' (so conversely, if I said "the massacre of hundreds of innocent children", you wouldn't think it was the children committing the massacre. In this case they are the object), So the pun on the title still logically functions, merely switching the meaning from subject to object, again by visual context. Hope this makes it funnier, actually
(edit) probably came on a bit strong there, roger. Might be something in the air but it's the second time today ive faced pretty dubious pedantry. Had a bloke in the footy comments of all places explaining to me that 1980 was actually part of the seventies

# 1980 is part of that part of the 70’s that didn’t occur in the 70’s, which is to say, all the rest of time which is NOT the 70’s. So 1980 does indeed have a reciprocal, existential relationship with the 70’s.
From this position is it perfectly reasonable to suggest that a multiplicity of things which exist only in mutual relation may be more usefully regarded as a single ‘entity’, since they only arise together, thus, not your day is it chuck :(

# while true, "the interconnectedness of all things" wasn't the main thrust of his argument
(, Tue 13 Oct 2020, 0:00, archived)
# in a "the century starts at x1" sense, that could be argued to be correct
but in any way that actually matters, it's bollocks

# well I'm impressed
