You can't just take something that doesn't belong to you and then arbitrarily declare that it does. Unless you fundamentally believe that national power expressed through war is completely fine. Tesla is pretty big, but what happens if Toyota just arbitrarily decides that it owns it? It has hundreds of thousands of employees and can get boots on the ground quickly in all of his major markets. But they don't, because there are rules, and although THOSE rules are also fucking shit, people seem to respect them.
