Sure but I think when someone behaves like a fascist it is sensible to point that out.Speaking at an AFD rally, helping to incite racist rioters, amplifying white supremacists and far-right conspiracy theories on their own media platform, generally advocating for fascist policies like anti-unionism... If someone was doing things like that, as well as some eugenics-adjacent shit, and they also threw a Roman (Nazi) salute twice (for emphasis) at a political rally, then I think the comparisons are quite justified.
Comparing Trump to Hitler is a bit different. He's more like a hybrid of Mussolini and Berlusconi than Hitler, though I understand he is a fan.

Fascism is a thing, it is defined by things, Elon Musk does a lot of those things, therefore it is not merely an opinion that Musk behaves like a fascist.
Like, you couldn't offer an opinion that invalidates objective evidence in a legal court, for example.
Or your opinion that lions are not real would not save you from a wild hungry lion, for another example.
