We don't need one.
The Speaker of the Commons is already the highest political authority. Alternatively we can look to Ireland for a good example of a completely powerless figurehead president. Their president literally cannot even speak in public without prior written permission.

I think the old Irish monarchical system was quite different to ours. Not quite as hereditary. Nipple-play.
