or quite possibly my favourite error messages from Tiny Basic on the TRS80 Model 1 Level 1 - "ERROR", "WHAT" and "HOW". Yep, there was only 3.

my favourite error message was in windows, where some program or other crashed and claimed it was a "magnamonious, fantastic error"

what I'd put into error messages. The one that's really pissing me off at the mo is Dreamweaver MX.....it regularly 'encounters a fatal error and will now terminate' followed by a dialogue box with a single 'OK' button in it. Nowt else.
