If the mic is by the clockface, that is.Radio waves are much faster than sound. The electric signal passes through to you quicker than UHF (TV) waves. Plus, TV was probably on a special 'Ozzy Delay'.

I can't contradict your figures......due to it being so long since I studied waves, but I think you'll find it's true. You'll have to try it at New Year.
