*cough* civil list *cough*And that's before you start delving into the exceedingly murky world of Royal finances... the line between personal and official costs and property is not a well-defined one. There are many less obvious ways that the state and taxpayer contributes to the royal family which do not fall under the usual calculations about what's being given and what's being taken.
