Ah but I avoid those sort of films, you see.I only saw Gladiator because it was on in a plane, and then 2 mates decided that they'd rent it on 2 consecutive nights. One of them wanted to turn the lights off in the sitting room, I asked if they could be left on so that I'd have something interesting to look at.
Similarly - from watching an ad break's worth of Die Hard the other day, I think I can sum it up as follows: Bruce run round a building with ever dirtier shirt/bigger gun, cracking jokes, villains run round speaking German, hostages scream. Is there any more to it than that?
