is this the person you said was going to columbia in NY?nearly all US universities give each new student an e-mail address which usually can be found on the university web site directory. I used to live 5 blocks from UWMilwaukee and still find people using it, however the addresses can be out of date or may be a different person with the same name. And it does depend if they sign into it or not.
