No - we have a simpler system.
A mark is 13s 4d, which is (obviously) two-thirds of a pound. Half a crown is 2s 6d, but there is no crown coin. Simply remember that 100d is 8s 4d and there you are.
Naturally, s stands for shilling and d stands for pence ...
