edit: I was discussing that with the reverend actually, about how we should have specific anti troll enforcers. Basically mods, but without the power to FP anything. Just edit and delete, and itd be our job to collar wankpots, and then put it to the board as to whether their posts should be deleted or not...

if a thread gets well developed, then keep it, even if it is a troll, but if its the same person quickly posting bollocks things, then have someone on hand to sort it out. And yeah, I came to the conclusion that it wouldnt happen anyway, cos there are plenty of mods.

however, I still think they should make either you, me or kitty a mod to police the hours between about 2-7ish...

Sorry, had nothing to do with that post, I just thought it was impressive!

In a related note, I see your point there! Could be a good idea. I know most mods spazz back to see some pictures they've missed and front page them late...but that doesn't get rid of trolls, sometimes there's just no one around to edit/delete their posts and it's annoying as fuck. Have you emailed Rob to discuss this to see if certain people can be given this "power" for a trail time, see how it goes, see if people can be trusted and so on, and see if the place becomes fluffyer?

I would feel kind of stupid trying to tell him how to run the place. Its nothing to do with me afterall. it was just a thought I had earlier. It was more to with the fact that the nightshift is more active than it ever was these days, but we dont always have mods about.
