I was working in a factory a few years ago in the warehouse. It got dark in there, especially at night with no light from the windows. It was quite a creepy place and so ghost stories started to circulate, and it soon emerged that our supervisor was a devout believer in ghosts. We started circulating one story about a previous worker who had died there one time when a shelf broke and a large container landed on him, crushing his head. Every night at midnight (conveniently around the supervisors break time) the ghost would walk the warehouse corridors.
So once the stories were well and truly ingrained in the supervisors psyche, we waited for his lunchbreak then we took a boiler suit (the uniform for the factory) and tied gloves and boots onto the ends, stuffed it with tissue paper. Then the paper that was hanging out the neck was painted red. We then suspended it from wires in a dark spot of the warehouse and waited for him to do the stock taking...
He shit himself like you wouldn't beleive. Ran straight to the boss (who fortunately was in on the stunt) and swore that he was never going back in there ever again. When he started talking about resigning we had to let him in on it.
