I walked past an empty house once,and the former occupant had recently passed away. I walked into the garden because there were a pile of old garden tools that I thought may be useful (i'm a bit of a thieving git). Before going over to the tool, i picked up a new Yellow Pages of the floor and suddenly a woman in what seemed to be a white gown, appeared in front of me. I ran quicker that i'd ever done before.

The house is refurbished now but it still scares me a little bit when I go past. What do you people think? My personified concience telling me not to take the tools or a real ghost?

tis trueMy old school used to be an Abbey and dated from the middle of the previous millenia (Dorset, UK). There were monks that used to parade up and down the corridor outside my 'study'. However due to the fact that the floor had been raised some centuries prior you would only see their top halves. It was very common and most of the school had seen them.. and we thought nothing of it at the time.
