# Undomesticated Housemate
My house mates are all generally fine and pleasant people to live with but one of them is soooo undomesticated its unreal!! He cooked sausages in the microwave until they exploded, then tried cooking some more straight on the rack in the oven, the fat is still burning off the bottom of the oven a year later!!

The piece de resistance though is when he defrosted the fridge/freezer when we all went home for summer. All he did was clear it out, turn it off and leave the doors open.

So we return three months later to find a complete mess of sludge and mould on the floor where the ice had all melted and poured out, a closed fridge now growing a whole civilisation of mould and a most dreadful smell. The smell was traced to a small bag at the back of the freezer which was still open, containging a maggot infested black goo. Only identifiable by its label: chicken breast.

A dog is more domesticated.

Oh, and i just walked downstairs about an hour ago to a strong smell of gas, three house mates had been sat in the room next to the kitchen and not noticed that one hob was on full but not alight, needless to say, every window in the whole house is now open, it is very cold.

# Ah well...
at least he left the door of the freezer open...I knew someone whose housemate defrosted the freezer over the summer by simply unplugging it. The fridge as well.
The flat warden(or whatever they're called) couldn't get the mould off with a scourer and both pieces of (previously) 'white goods' ended up being carted away after being completely sealed with "Biohazard - do not open" tape...
