# BBC: - What's so funny about aids?
(, Wed 19 Nov 2003, 2:38, archived)
# It's funny how one might go about contracting it,
isn't it?
(, Wed 19 Nov 2003, 2:40, archived)
# Such as?
I though Drugs, Sex, blood tranfusions where the main things. Nothing Funny there?
(, Wed 19 Nov 2003, 2:43, archived)
# where?
do you mean are?
(, Wed 19 Nov 2003, 2:46, archived)
# I imagine that it is using that image to show that there are different aspects to the disease
which helps to combat compassion fatigue

either that or they are heartless tarts - or they have drawns a willy

and bandwidth theiving is wrong- even if they can afford it
(, Wed 19 Nov 2003, 2:42, archived)
# Surely,
for the most part, the BBC is the bandwidth of the UK...
(, Wed 19 Nov 2003, 2:43, archived)
# geeking my way through slashdot one day
I saw a map of how much bandwidth the bbc uses where - truely mind boggling numbers
(, Wed 19 Nov 2003, 2:45, archived)
# Indeed.
Aren't they the UK's number one site, and something like the fourth-most accessed site in the world?
(, Wed 19 Nov 2003, 2:46, archived)
# I think so - and wuite right because they have a lot of good stuff (and a watermelon load of shite)
followed by the guardian unlimited site (that might just be in news)
(, Wed 19 Nov 2003, 2:47, archived)
# you sir
are a slacker and a vagabond!

(was a good night)
(, Wed 19 Nov 2003, 2:44, archived)
# Very astute
where did you end up and who made it?
(, Wed 19 Nov 2003, 2:46, archived)
# the dog and parrot
me, cowjam, wildheart baby, tart monkey and witchy
(, Wed 19 Nov 2003, 2:47, archived)
# cool
we'll have to do it again - but with me turning up instead of not
(, Wed 19 Nov 2003, 2:49, archived)
# Okay, see your point.
But it still is a pretty dreadful diseases and i am sure there are high points, but always the lows.

On the bandwidth thieving, surely when somebody uses MSN to host an image that is wrong, but I don't see people complaining.
(, Wed 19 Nov 2003, 2:47, archived)
# no because msn
is a hosting service - the bbc is not.

It's a terrible desease but it's important to show hope as well as dispair - plus it destigmatises it which reduces the risks somewhat
