# escaped mental patient
we had a roommate who was a complete psycho, she even had the crazy person smell. she'd wake up at 5am and scrub the floors for two hours and then rave about the 'mess' in the house. everything else in her life was GREAT, but the 'mess' in the house was making her miserable.

she would often refer to the time when she was 'sick,' and then it turned out that she'd been in an asylum for over a year and left/escpaed about a year before her treatment was over. then she fled to the united states and moved in with us. eventually she moved out after she did something dodgy with the water bill.

# Loons & pornballs
In my first year at uni I shhared a flat with 4 other guys. There was the filth and the shouting and scrabbling in desperate ways after (any) woman with no thought at all. That's normal. I had two freaks.

One of them was 30 and slightly mad. 4 day drinking binges culminating with screaming paranoia about his having aids etc. Best of all he committed himself into the local mental hospital, got bored. He then broke out with all the other patients and took them to the pub. He wasn't allowed back.

The second was a man who didnt believe in doors nd would constantly unscrew them. He never ever washed, cut his hair or toesnails. he didn't wear shoes. He claimed that he was from another planet. when we accidentallys et fire to his hair 1 dread thingy just went up in smoke. He didn't even notice. He once got pissed off at the washing up and smashed all the plates. I was afraid. Especially as he kept coming to visit me in the houses I lived in during the following years.

In another house, a dear friend of mine created porn balls. From jacking off into newspaper, porn mags etc and fashioning them into balls. There was many of them. We only found out about them when another of the guys we lived with picked one up, wondering what it was. The same guy pissed himself by the front door one evening to see what it was like. He then wanted to wash his piss sodden trousers with someone else's clothes.

edit: i forgot about the no-friends weirdo we had to get into a house as someone moved out, who seemed ok until one night when having a smoke he asked 'have you ever wanted to, y'know, really hurt a woman?' Silence ensued. We didn't really speak to him again. I'm still afraid of what he may have done....
