sorry, only just saw this...I know you can record selecting a layer as part of an action - so I imagine it's possible... I'll have a think and get back to you!

cheers ears :)basically, i want to record a whole bunch of filters in a particular combination, then apply those across the board to all layers. at the moment tho, i'm having to do each layer individually which is taking quite a while!
