I've never been able to get decent pictures out of my digicam when pointed through a set of binoculars.

Mines just a shite Fuji Finepix A202. Really must get a new one.

# aah
but have you tried selotape?

i "attached" (read balanced) binoculars on a tripod with the lens of the camera taped on, zoomed in, then set the auto-focus off and twiddled the binocular knobs till it looked ok on the screen.

pressing the button without wibbling was quite tricky though..

# I'll admit
I've not tried sellotape.

I've not even got a tripod. Woe is me :(
