# A distraction you say?
*scratches chin and looks thoroughly pensive*

*rapidly becomes aware of the overuse of asterisks to suggest action and or thought*

Such as a small scale Viking Invasion? Just little you understand, localised rampaging and killing with pillaging kept to an absolute minimum.

# hmmm
You know, i think you are onto something. It just might work....And it might just be an exciting adventure for a future Fluffy Twuntsocks episode. Fluffy Twuntsocks wins Olympic Gold.
(, Fri 2 Apr 2004, 3:29, archived)
# Shit.
I'm not sure I have the skill, patience, skill and enthusiasm for a whole olympian adventure. I'll definately write it down. I keep a post-it pad next to my computer to write down all my demented thoughts and to sketch new things to draw.

# You going
for comic style or animation style adventures?
(, Fri 2 Apr 2004, 3:37, archived)
# I havent decided.
What do you think. A vertical 3/4 frame comic? I had a go at animation once and I'm really not very happy with it. (See my profile) It was more about the pun that the skill used in bringing it to fruitition.
(, Fri 2 Apr 2004, 3:47, archived)
# As i dont
have a clue about animation, id say go with the comic style. When your happy with it you can do an 8 frame epic of him winning gold :)
(, Fri 2 Apr 2004, 3:51, archived)
# Its on the list.
My next project which I have been meaning to get onto is a simple Beatles pun that doesn't in any way involve Abbey Road. I need to get it out of my head so I'll do that next. Should be a 5 minute job.
(, Fri 2 Apr 2004, 3:52, archived)
# Shall look forward to it.
Gonna buy me a Graphics tablet at weekend so will see what i can come up with then. Will feel more comfortable using one for image stuff as i am a lefty who uses a mouse right handed. cant use a mouse with my left hand to save my life (evil right handed mind washing and desk placement).
(, Fri 2 Apr 2004, 3:55, archived)
# Ive never been near a graphics tablet.
I find the concept a little strange. Im so used to using the mouse now and I'm developing quite a steady hand with it too.

# You drew Fluffy with a Mouse???
*Tips hat*

# Its a combination of vectors and bitmap.
Thats the secret, I learnt it all from the tutorials that Jim Turner made on www.strawberrydragon.com.

Im well into this vector thing now although I have stayed away from the 'bandwagon' by not posting pics of me and the Quo and putting it to use for hummus based activities. See profile for Nessie. (Which makes a really cool wallpaper if you set the background around it to white.
(, Fri 2 Apr 2004, 4:06, archived)
# Yeah i like the Vector effect
(see profile for my 1st Vector pic).
And have also pilfered the nessie pic for my wallpaper collection.

# Woo, thats better than most of my early attempts. Go southpaw.
I find it quite hard doing large images or ones with quite a few blocks of colour as I can never get the order right and end up with the highlights getting lost at the back and me getting frustrated.

# Just what happens
when one's messge gets to the far edge and you can't reply any further to the right?
(, Fri 2 Apr 2004, 4:13, archived)
# Ive
seen it where the messages become one word per line and a complete bitch to read. Then I think the board starts getting wider.
(, Fri 2 Apr 2004, 4:14, archived)
# We should try it an see
(, Fri 2 Apr 2004, 4:15, archived)
# Race you.
I added to the whole "what should we call the sort-of glasscock" discussion but most people have given up on that discussion. I want closure damn it!
(, Fri 2 Apr 2004, 4:16, archived)
# Ooo i will go loo and see.
Not been up top side for a few minutes. brb.
(, Fri 2 Apr 2004, 4:17, archived)
# Yep. Seems
to fit the bill ok there. Perfectly sound.
(, Fri 2 Apr 2004, 4:18, archived)
# Getting closer.
Will anyone be brave to join us and sail over the edge into the unknown? Ironically it echoes the fears of the vikings who believed that you could sail over the horizon and off the edge of the world.

# If I dont come back...
Could somebody:
1. Go on my date on Sunday with the sexy barmaid from Wetherspoons
2. Water my cactus, its ony the window sill
3. Live out the rest of my life and attempt to fulfill all my ambitions, they are in a text document somewhere in My Documents.
(, Fri 2 Apr 2004, 4:22, archived)
# Put me
down for the Barmaid but im crap with plants. the Cacti wouldnt do well.
Oo its scary out here. think im going top side again before the very fabric of the board shatters.
(, Fri 2 Apr 2004, 4:23, archived)
# Right.
You get the barmaid. I'll email someone and see about them sorting out the plants. Any takers for fulfulling my ambitions in my absence?
(, Fri 2 Apr 2004, 4:25, archived)
# I win!
I got there first! YAY ME!

edit: No I didnt, you just beat me. BOO NAY!
(, Fri 2 Apr 2004, 4:26, archived)
# Argh. if id just held my nerve.
Guess the barmaids off then?
(, Fri 2 Apr 2004, 4:27, archived)
# She
does have an incredibly dirty mate from Essex called Carrie who also happens to be a barmaid somewhere else. I'll see what I can do.
(, Fri 2 Apr 2004, 4:28, archived)
# Result!
(, Fri 2 Apr 2004, 4:30, archived)
# And is a
comic/cartoon standard as the Characters run off the reel of film. And your right, it is a bitch to read.
