then just say the words 'It worked'. Noramly the GM guy is sat so far away from you he will never notice. Using this method mean you never need to read the rules. and you always survive.

...say...erm... Javelin?
1.Throw
2.Raise hand as if to shield from the Sun
3.Look pleased
4.Say "It worked"
5.Win
6.Get ladies

is a well timed diversion. At the moment the Javlin leaves your hand, the distraction should happen. It should happen for long enough for you to run out, stick the javlin in the ground, run back and look pleased. If you have a friend whho is willing to set themselves on fire, it will work a treat.

*scratches chin and looks thoroughly pensive*
*rapidly becomes aware of the overuse of asterisks to suggest action and or thought*
Such as a small scale Viking Invasion? Just little you understand, localised rampaging and killing with pillaging kept to an absolute minimum.

You know, i think you are onto something. It just might work....And it might just be an exciting adventure for a future Fluffy Twuntsocks episode. Fluffy Twuntsocks wins Olympic Gold.

I'm not sure I have the skill, patience, skill and enthusiasm for a whole olympian adventure. I'll definately write it down. I keep a post-it pad next to my computer to write down all my demented thoughts and to sketch new things to draw.

What do you think. A vertical 3/4 frame comic? I had a go at animation once and I'm really not very happy with it. (See my profile) It was more about the pun that the skill used in bringing it to fruitition.

have a clue about animation, id say go with the comic style. When your happy with it you can do an 8 frame epic of him winning gold :)

My next project which I have been meaning to get onto is a simple Beatles pun that doesn't in any way involve Abbey Road. I need to get it out of my head so I'll do that next. Should be a 5 minute job.

Gonna buy me a Graphics tablet at weekend so will see what i can come up with then. Will feel more comfortable using one for image stuff as i am a lefty who uses a mouse right handed. cant use a mouse with my left hand to save my life (evil right handed mind washing and desk placement).

I find the concept a little strange. Im so used to using the mouse now and I'm developing quite a steady hand with it too.

Thats the secret, I learnt it all from the tutorials that Jim Turner made on www.strawberrydragon.com.
Im well into this vector thing now although I have stayed away from the 'bandwagon' by not posting pics of me and the Quo and putting it to use for hummus based activities. See profile for Nessie. (Which makes a really cool wallpaper if you set the background around it to white.

I find it quite hard doing large images or ones with quite a few blocks of colour as I can never get the order right and end up with the highlights getting lost at the back and me getting frustrated.

Will anyone be brave to join us and sail over the edge into the unknown? Ironically it echoes the fears of the vikings who believed that you could sail over the horizon and off the edge of the world.
