When you select magic wand
on the top bar there's a numerical value between 1 and 100. I think it's called 'tolerance'. Play with that and you should get a result. the two backgrounds are far enough away from yellow for it to work.

tolerance 100, click in yellow circle = perfect cut = several hours work reduced to several minutes. b3tans am the best!
