# and another thing
[thinking out loud]

I've always valued b3ta as the one place, even online, where you could really, truly be yourself. No matter how silly or angry or happy you get, you can express yourself here and have a guarantee that somebody is going to respond as a kindred soul. I think that's why this place has sustained such a high level of energy for so long in comparison to other websites -- it's liberatory in a way that they aren't. You really can't be who you are here anywhere else.

With that in mind, I wonder why anyone, as they craft their b3tan persona, would choose such a narrow one as this person has? It seems like a tremendous waste of opportunity. This particular poster could be hilarious in real life -- but we'll never know because he's forced himself into a situation where he must repeat the same joke over and over. To do anything else would be a form of surrender. Yet none of us has forced these rules upon him. It's sad.

# maybe..
just maybe.. they enjoy being a cunt.. or at least trying to behave cunt-ishly... aaaaand.. maybe.. they want to get a reaction, if they had saved that until dayshift they would have got one.. a very very long one.. involving images, and the word 'cockbadger'
(too many dots, sorry)

# Yeah...
...but why would you seek out a bad reaction when it's so easy to get a good one here? Even people who aren't really that funny or creative end up with good reputations simply by being nice...
