mp3 probably - mine's a wavit usually chops the ends off when you make mp3's of things. I also have the problem of getRight automatically starting up a download window for any background mp3's instead of just playing them.

maybe the old wavwas compressed as an mp3 or something, I don;t really use compression on wavs themselves sorry.
