one time my friend had to write a research paperabout some kind of scientist. and he plagiarized this big section from some other paper, and to make it into his own work, he changed the phrase "as a child, he enjoyed playing with lab equipment" to "as a child, he enjoyed fondling lab equipment."
didn't work.
