personally when things go toofast i find it more amusing. Playing with record speeds always makes me wet myself.

the thing isIE is a PILE OF CRAP that can't show any animation with less than (I think) 1/20'th about a fifth of a second between frames. So anyone who accidentally makes an animation with a frame-rate of 1/100th of a second will not notice anything on IE.
