in firefox opens in a new tab.

It's become a habit for me.

Firefox beats everything else in speed. IE opens quicker because it's always loaded, but Firefox renders faster.

I value security over speed, anyway.

I mean scrolling speed with the mouse wheel, and click mouse wheel and scroll.

Murderously slow in Firefox, I shall be uninstalling soon. Not convinced.
