... or...Go buy Paint Shop Pro. It's a million times cheaper (i.e. about £40 or so) and does everything that I ever want an image editor to do but without all the hassle I'd get from Photoshop ;)
Sure Photoshop can do more things, but they really aren't needed for the vast majority of image editing...
