probably file associations changedif you updated mediaplayer after you installed iTunes. just dump a .pls file on your desktop, right-clicky and go for 'open with' then 'other program...' and pick whatever you want (notepad works, but doesn't make too much noise for me) and check the 'always use this' thing at the bottom of that form.
