home hosting, my friend.. big files I just stick on the ISPs web space
it`s slow, but I know stuff is getting backed up, I can fire stuff across in seconds using samba or shfs, and if I fancy adding extra bits and bobs (am thinking of having a bash with the Smarty PHP engine) I can do that

Im lazy and hate having PCs on. so thats out of the question for me, nice to know what people are up to.
edit: never really had a play with ful scale CMS's, I just use wordpress for blogging. Hack that about it if I feeel the need to tinker.

aye I wrote a dopey wee blog thing for my site
which is why I like hosting it at home; I`d never really used PHP before, although I know Java very well the whole Apache-Tomcat thing was too much hassle to keep going (did that for about a year)
my next step is to make the site look nice.. cos it looks shite :)
