As for direction I know, I'm clueless, but I had a twenty year break from art and it's only now that I have the time and a small knowledge of the tools that I am making stuff and I always make it for me.
As for pissing people off? I know, I wish people would get with the program and see that it's what gets my rocks off when I've nothing to post. I'm not the same in real life, I've been to many internet meets and all you get then is pages of 'what a good guy he is, nothing like his board persona'. But I'm not ready to smash that image here yet ;)
When I do make something that I think is worthy of a bit of praise I do appreciate it, it's only when I post hard work and honest stuff just to have people with another agenda slag it/me off that I can lose it. I'd like my work and my arguments to be separate, but what the fuck, I'm a cunt, never going to happen.

I think if I can see it seperatelythen other people can too. There are many things about your board persona that have infuriated me, but I think I have come to understand a little more about our Zooty, so it's not impossible that other people will too.
