# It depends what you define as emo
the emo definition here seems to be any song with emotional content, but with people who have typically sXe lifestyles- technically emo is everything from dashboard confessional to funeral for a friend, with anything heavier than that being 'hardcore,' I would not class interpol as emo although quite a few songs are emotional.
