I never really noticed it before I started poking around with squid last night, but I`m not happy they`re forcing stuff down the browser without asking (much like when I sit and make sure I block as many trackers as possible)
some git could easily set up a few google bombs and fire megs of crap down the line, plus you`re still getting picked up in the #1 match`s server logs as a referral
after all this China stuff, I think google isn`t quite the 'ethical' company they like to think
