# American?
Richard and Judy are a couple on British TV. While originally they appeared on a program called 'This Morning' which embodied daytime television and attracted audiences mainly composed of 50s housewives and students they subsequently left the show and established a new early evening program called 'Richard and Judy.' While largely consisting of 'crackpot experts,' product promotion (including a few alleged underhand advertising deals) and 'crackpot experts' and annectodal evidence from 'concerned parents' in so called balanced discussion forums.

But to cut to the main point. The opening sequence of Richard and Judy consists of the words 'Richard and Judy' floating over various bits of the British landscape.

Lived under a rock for the past five years?

The world trade center was loacated in Manhatten, New York, New York, USA. On the 11th September 2001 a group of terrorists from the organisation 'Al'Qaeda' hyjacked four aircraft. Two of these were flown into the two towers of the World Trade Center, initailly causing a large fire which subsequently led to the collapse of both towers. Of the remaining planes one was flown into one wind of the pentagon, causing widespread damage, while the final plane crashed in pensylvania. Due to the death toll, live footage, and civilian target of the first two planes mentioned they seem to be remembered more than the second two.

Imbecilic?

The Richard and Judy logo is mimic the action of the aircraft. This unexpected juxtaposition in an entirely novel manner is intended to be humerous. While the source of humour may seem vaguely inapropriate this is one of the facts which contributes to the humor.

Still confused
Look at the explosion.

# Ah
I get it now.

English, and proud to have seen Judy's tits.

No rock is large enough to conceal my ample torso.

Imbecilic, yes.

Still confused, but about life in general.

I work late, so I've never had the delight of seeing the programme and its obviously shite opening sequence. I shall set my video to record it tomorrow, and will look forward in honest eagerness to the audio/visual delight that awaits me.
