I was on holiday in Jamaica a few weeks ago...and Just Visiting was on TV in the hotel. I recognised it and thought it'd be great, even if they had renamed it for the US market.
Then it started and I was in a state of offended confusion until I managed to turn it off after about 30 minutes.
I was so offended I bought the proper version on eBay.

I must whole heartedly agree...Yes, Les Visiteurs made me wee my pants when I watched it unlike Just Visiting which was poo (no disrespect to Jean Reno - he is class).
The same happened with Taxi, the original by Luc Besson is a must watch/own. Then the "Thomas the Tanks" got hold of it, thought gee whizz pop this will earn some mega bucks! and made a piss poor remake.
I'm sure there are many more like this to mention but I need to pop to teh kasi.
So if you ain't seen Taxi, watch the French version not "Unkie Sam's".
