
but to say that most of the rides are deathtraps is utter bollocks. I can remember two or three accidents in the last 30 years - not bad when you consider it's the most popular tourist attraction in Europe.

I'd like to think that I've done an above average number of white-knuckle rides in my time, and on virtually all I felt safe. The Blackpool ones I felt that the park could've put some effort in, like the Max using poorly fitting car seatbelts instead of drop-down harnesses.
