Although to me it looks like the pump is set to 'blow' not 'suck', which is maybe even more disturbing.

they usually are.. the return is supposed to flow out on its own.. and now I've lost my lunchtime appetite.

Edit: I have to agree, the flow does look like it's going "in", rather than "out"!
