What the fuck does 'Support the troops' mean, anyway?Such a bloody inane phrase - right down there with 'Down with this sort of thing' and 'there should be a law against it!'.
What are we supposed to do? Wave flags and cheer like zombies on Prozac whenever someone mentions the word 'War'? Turn up at the front with tea, biscuits and reassuring words? Blindly ignore or support a government that callously disregards the lives of ordinary soldiers for their own political gain?
