The really REALLYnice thing is that you can use multiple accounts... More than one Yahoo/ICQ/MSN (maybe AOL too, not sure) ID? Simply add them both, and see all your friends at once!
(Don't do this if one ID's a lurking one though, 'cause it'll combine your contact lists...)
Edit: yes, just over 2 megs... but compare that to 7megs for MSN and about 10 for ICQ (and more if you want to do stupid stuff like, oh f'rinstance, manage message history...)
