Just a quickie. Do you use Flash then save as a .gif?

I make the movie in flash, export it as a jpeg sequence. Import folder as frames in imageready, change the framerate to 0.06secs then export as .gif.

If you export the .gif straight from flash, it optimises it unnecessarily.

The way around that is rather than publish, I export. Worked with my robot:



Edit: That is, it didn't dither solid color areas which increases the size of the GIF sometimes as much as an order of magnitude.
